This step is only required if your products are not at AvocadoStore yet and you want to import a large number of products.

For a small number of products (< 10) we recommend to create the products manually at AvocadoStore and match the SKUs. 

If your Products are already at AvocadoStore please make sure that the SKUs in your Shop and at AvocadoStore are identical and unique! 

Then follow only step 5 and 7. 

 

Please select the "new product export" here by clicking on it: 

 

Match Fields:  

Please select for all AvocadoStore Fields on the left the equivalent of your Product Template on the right. 

Don't worry if you don't have all fields. You will just have to map the fields that you want to list but at least the required ones (see Step 1). 

Match Options: 

Please select for all AvocadoStore Options on the left the equivalent of your Product Template on the right. 

Don't worry if you don't have all Options. You will just have to map the options that you want to list but at least the required ones (see Step 1). 

Create New Export: 

Once the mapping is done please click on "Create New" to create a new export. 

Once created add products to the export by clicking on "Add Products"

Select only the parent products (in case you grouped your products). After you selected all parent products you want to list click on "Add Products" 

Please assign all Primary and if necessary Secondary Categories your Product should be listed in AvocadoStore. 

If the Status is not switching to "Ready" please select the product and click on "re-validate" after you selected the Primary Category. 

Export Products: 

When you added all products you want to list at AvocadoStore and the Status is "Ready" then please click on "Export Products".

As a final result you will be able to download a list that you will now need to upload at AvocadoStore 

Therefore, click on "Download List". 

Please don't open the list with Excel, so that the format will not be changed. 

Activate Product Import:

Before you can upload the list please make sure that product import is activated. How this works is explained here:

Upload list at AvocadoStore: 

To upload the list please log in to AvocadoStore then select Importe -> Produkte (nicht Importe -> Angebote). 

Please note that uploading products to the Avocadostore will irrevocably overwrite the data. We therefore recommend that you first perform a "Test-Upload". A test upload validates that the list is technically ok and simulates the correct upload.

To do this, upload the list in step 3 "Überprüfen Sie Ihre Datei". After a few minutes you will receive an email from Avocadostore with the results of the upload.

The e-mail from Avocadostore contains a feedback how many lines from the list are OK ("OK" or "Warning") and which lines are not OK ("Error" or "Fatal").

"Warnings" are absolutely fine. These mean that existing records will be changed. Feedback on the individual lines is provided by Avocadostore in the .csv file provided as a download link in the email.

Please make sure that "Error" and "Fatal" are 0. If this is not the case, please forward the email to help@hello-pine.com.

If Error and Fatal are 0, you can upload the list "live".

Again, you will receive feedback from Avocadostore. The number of "OK", "Warning", "Error" and "Fatal" lines should match the number from the test upload.


If this live upload was successful (no Error or Fatal), the SKUs are stored in the Avocadostore. From now on stock and prices can be updated.

After uploading new products, Avocadostore will temporarily set new products to "Under Review" status. 


A member of the Avocadostore editorial team will contact you within one working day if data from the import needs to be updated in terms of content. You can make changes directly in Avocadostore. However, please be careful not to change the SKUs of the offers.
